Dr. Ahn Delivered the Nose I Always Wanted

Dr. Ahn and his team are wonderful, and he gave me exactly the nose I’d always hoped for. I’m so glad I chose him. His calm, confident manner put me at ease right away, and he followed through on exactly what he promised. Several other surgeons I consulted wouldn’t use before-and-after imaging — one even said it was to avoid setting unrealistic expectations, which didn’t sit right with me. Dr. Ahn, on the other hand, showed me a projected image of my new nose and then actually delivered those results. I’m incredibly thankful. Rebecca is also fantastic with injectables and helped me feel so much more confident. The office itself is gorgeous and immaculately kept — it’s just an all-around great experience, and I won’t go anywhere else now, even with a two-hour drive each way.

Dramatic Nose Surgery Result for My Son

Natural Septorhinoplasty — A Nicer Version of My Own Nose

I wanted to leave a quick note praising Dr. Ahn for the great work on my septorhinoplasty six months back. At this point I can confidently say the result looks natural and good. My nose has always run on the larger side, and as I aged, the asymmetry became more noticeable and the tip started to look longer and droopier. During our consultation, I told Dr. Ahn I liked having a distinctive nose but wanted it more balanced and proportional to my face — he got exactly what I meant, telling me we were essentially aiming for a nicer version of my own nose. That’s precisely what I got: more symmetrical, a touch narrower, with a better tip angle, but it still looks completely natural. He also coached me through post-op care, including specific massage techniques to help it heal evenly. It wasn’t cheap, but after years of fixating on my nose, it’s such a relief to finally look in the mirror and like what I see.

Day 7 Post-Op and Already Can’t Believe My New Nose and Neck

I keep checking my nose out in the mirror from every angle — I still can’t quite believe it’s mine! It’s only been a week since surgery, so it’s got more improving to do. I caught a glimpse of myself in a window at my mother’s house and actually saw a defined jawline and neck, which made my whole silhouette look sleeker — it really does cascade down. Before surgery, when Dr. Ahn came by to mark my neck at the surgical center, I told him about a friend who’d said I shouldn’t mess with what I was given — and I told her that I was the one who’d messed it up, so now I was fixing it. Dr. Ahn and his team went well beyond what I expected. They spent an enormous amount of time with me, patiently answering questions and easing my worries. Dr. Ahn was clearly knowledgeable in our consultation, and he was upfront that two of the three areas I wanted addressed wouldn’t be worth my time or money. For the third, he explained his reasoning clearly but never pushed me toward surgery. In the end, I decided not to go through with it, and Dr. Ahn was completely fine with that. I think that combination — real technical skill paired with strong ethical standards — is exactly what you want in a plastic surgeon, and Dr. Ahn has shown me both, over and over.
